Our Mission -
To deliver the highest quality healthcare experience for patients.
Our Vision -
To be the preferred choice for doctors, staff and patients and recognised for the provision of high quality, medium acuity surgical services and palliative care.
Our Values -
Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Excellence and Professionalism.
GOAL 1
Ensure Bethesda Hospital remains true to its reason for being.
We will reinforce that there is a central purpose to our existence and conduct our business operations consistent with our Mission, Vision and Values.
We will provide all of our partners with an opportunity to contribute to our Mission.
GOAL 2
Bethesda Hospital will provide patient care that is safe and of the highest quality, within a culture that truly values customer service.
We will work to improve every aspect of care for patients who chose to come to Bethesda Hospital, with an unrelenting commitment to safety and quality.
We will establish partnerships with our clinicians that result in safe and high quality care outcomes, in an environment that exceeds patient expectations.
We will strengthen our practices to ensure our promise of placing patients at the centre of everything we do, is achieved.
GOAL 3
Achieve financial strength and long-term viability for Bethesda Hospital.
We will responsibly manage our financial, human and physical resources and take a pro- active approach to risk.
We will provide accountable governance at all levels in the organisation and ensure all relevant legislative requirements are met consistently.
Opportunities for enhancing and diversifying revenues, increasing philanthropic support, and enacting cost containment measures to cement the organisation’s long-term fiscal health and well-being will continue to be examined.
GOAL 4
Bethesda Hospital will establish and invest in partnerships that produce mutually beneficial outcomes.
We will foster strong relations with doctors and aggressively seek opportunities to develop and promote our respective businesses.
We will enthusiastically collaborate with all our funders (e.g. Government and private health insurance funds) to create added value to the programs we run and they fund.
GOAL 5
Be the hospital of choice in Perth for doctors, staff and volunteers.
We will attain this goal by providing a supportive, enjoyable and professionally fulfilling work environment that strengthens doctors, staff and volunteer satisfaction throughout Bethesda Hospital.
Staff and volunteers will be rewarded and recognised for the contribution they make to the success of Bethesda.
The health and well being of those who work with us will be of importance and actively supported.
GOAL 6
Bethesda Hospital will be a ‘learning organisation’ that has the ability to maintain its relevance and thrive.
Establish high-calibre education programs and institute research activities that result in both improved care outcomes and make a contribution to the future health workforce in the community.
We will work to ensure that all learning and development activities are consistently of high quality and that Bethesda Hospital has a qualified and leading-edge workforce with the ability to respond to future healthcare challenges.
Research will be collaborative, targeted and relevant and be supported by external funding, donations and philanthropy.
