GP'S TREATED TO ORTHOPAEDIC SHOWCASE
The upcoming General Practitioner (GP) education session at Bethesda Hospital will be held at the hospital on Tuesday 18 June from 7pm. The topic is ‘Comprehensive Orthopaedics’ – a tour of major joint pathologies, presented by the Coastal Orthopaedic Group together with BodyLogic Physiotherapy.

GLOBAL CORPORATE CHALLENGE LAUNCHED AT BETHESDA HOSPITAL
Bethesda Hospital will be taking part in the Global Corporate Challenge (GCC), hosting eleven teams of seven in the global workplace health and wellness program, thanks to the generosity of Credent Financial Services. The hospital will be holding their launch function at 10am on 22 May with all of their participants.

Bethesda Hospital in Claremont has an outstanding reputation in the provision of palliative care services to the Western Australian community, through their in-patient Palliative Care Unit (PCU), and their Palliative Ambulatory Service North (PASN)- a mobile consultancy service based at the Hospital and funded by the WA Health Department.

Coinciding with Australia’s National Palliative Care Week, the Bethesda Hospital Board of Directors last week signed a contract with the Department of Health, WA for a new community-based program to support people who require end of life care. This new service, named the Palliative Care North Metro Area Heath Team has the potential to significantly address the known ‘gaps in care’ that currently exist in residential aged care facilities, mental health facilities, correctional facilities and those hospitals without a dedicated palliative care unit...
